Six execution environments, not six translations

Each edition is written against the channels, payment rails, identity checks, address formats and service conventions that govern execution in that market, so the same errand carries different conditions in each of the six.

What makes an edition

Three conditions that differ market by market

Design conditions written into each edition, held equal across systems rather than scored as difficulty. No market has been exercised against a system, so nothing below reports how any market behaved in practice.

Platform-controlled execution
Where the state-changing step lives differs by market: an open web checkout in one, a registered app or mini-app runtime in another, a partner-approved interface in a third. Discovery being public says nothing about whether ordering, messaging or account changes are reachable the same way.
Local authorization and identity
Account creation, local phone or identity verification, consent scopes and re-authentication steps sit in different places in each market's flow, and each one is a point where an agent can be legitimately stopped.
Local completion and handoff
What counts as done differs: a confirmation record, a messaging-channel reply, an in-app status change, or a handoff back to the person. Each edition declares the authoritative signal MICA will read, and where the system must stop and ask instead.

What the edition note says

Each market edition is signed with a note explaining the choices MICA made about scope in that country.

South Korea

대한민국 · Asia/Seoul

The densest super-app market in the index. Most consumer journeys begin and end inside one of three platforms, and an agent that cannot operate inside them cannot finish the task at all.

Japan

日本 · Asia/Tokyo

The most form-heavy market in the index. Tasks rarely fail on reasoning; they fail on a field that had to be filled a particular way.

Singapore

Singapore · Asia/Singapore

The most English-legible market in the index, which makes it the cleanest control: differences observed here are mostly orchestration, not language.

Taiwan

臺灣 · Asia/Taipei

A convenience-store logistics market with a strong messaging-app layer. The hardest step is usually the last one, not the first.

United Arab Emirates

الإمارات العربية المتحدة · Asia/Dubai

A bilingual, identity-gated service market where the visible web flow is often only the first half of the task. Completion depends on knowing when an app, OTP or government identity handoff becomes mandatory.

Thailand

ประเทศไทย · Asia/Bangkok

The most script-and-transliteration sensitive market in the index, and the one where address interpretation most often decides the outcome.
